Dr. Buthaina joined in the Department of Medicine in 1994 as a resident, in Arab Board Internal Medicine Training Program, Hamad Medical Corporation. Joined in the Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes in 2000 and currently working as a Sr. Consultant in the same division.
Also, she has been awarded Advanced life support Provider course in 2000, Arab Board of Medical Specialized in 2001 and FACE in 2012. She has been Graduated as Fellow American Clinical Endocrinologistin 2012, Faculty Member in Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar.

Dr Jawad Al-Lawati completed his medical degree at the University of Glasgow and obtained his Masters of Public Health from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. Since 1998 he has been working in the field of non-communicable diseases (NCD) in the MOH of Oman including National Diabetes Programme. He is the previous director of NCD department. His work has been on integrating NCD programmes such as the national diabetes programme in primary care services, strengthening cancer surveillance and palliative care, as well as work on the epidemiology of diabetes cardiovascular risk factors in Oman. Currently, he serves as the a senior consultant in the Ministry of Health in Oman and the rapporteur of the National Tobacco Control Committee.

Dr. Rabea Alhajeri holds a Bachelor degree in Medicine, Irish Board in Family Practice, Arab Board in Family Medicine, and Diploma and Master degree in Diabetes.
She was a coordinator of central diabetes clinic in Primary Health Care and Public Health at Ministry of health from 2010 – 2015 Along with her 15-years-of-experience in Medicine, Dr. Al Hajeri a member in Bahrain Diabetes Society and aboard member in gulf group for study of Diabetes also Dr Rabea took part in numerous programs for promoting health care and diabetes awareness. Furthermore, she organized and facilitated various seminars and workshops in Diabetes prevention and complications.
